TLC Technology in Learning Newsletter

The TLC launched its Technology in Learning Newsletter in spring 2008. Issues feature a faculty technology innovator whose work on campus is detailed in a feature article. Each issue is followed up with a presentation by the featured faculty member in which readers are invited to learn more about their work.

The newsletter also contains additional articles by the TLC staff on related technologies and trends, as well as resources available through the TLC for RU faculty and students.

Faculty Innovator Series

In addition to being featured in the Technology in Learning Newsletter, faculty innovators follow up their article with a presentation based upon their work in a given technology area.

Faculty on campus use a variety of technologies to enhance and supplement their classes. Examples include WebCT/Blackboard, iTunes U, Adobe Presenter, Web 2.0 applications, video, iPods and screencasting.
